Questions?Answers.
Does it support fast charging?
Yes. The KaseMe USB-C Cable supports fast charging at up to 240W, which is enough to fast-charge an iPhone, an Android device or a tablet at full speed. Actual charging speed depends on the wall adapter you’re using; to get full fast-charging performance, make sure your adapter is rated at 20W–30W for an iPhone and 25W–45W charger
For a Samsung. Plugging the cable into a lower-wattage adapter will charge your device, just at a slower rate.
Is it suitable for charging phones, tablets, and laptops?
Yes. The USB-C to USB-C connection works with any device that charges via USB-C; iPhones (15 and later), Android phones, tablets including iPad and Samsung tablets, and laptops. The 240W output handles the charging needs of phones and tablets comfortably. For high-powered laptops that require 90W or above, this cable is best used as a secondary option; primary laptop charging benefits from a higher-wattage cable matched to the charger.
What cable length is available?
The KaseMe USB-C Cable comes in a 2-metre length, long enough to charge from a wall outlet while using your device on a desk, a couch or a bed without being tethered close to the wall. Two metres is the practical sweet spot for everyday use: enough reach to be comfortable, short enough not to become a tangle hazard. The velcro strap keeps it compact when you coil it for travel or storage.
How durable is the cable?
Very. The braided exterior is designed to resist the fraying and cracking that affects rubber cables over time, especially at the connector ends where the most stress is applied. Metal tips at both connectors provide a solid, secure connection that holds up to repeated plugging and unplugging without loosening. The cable itself is pleasantly flexible, soft and easy to handle, not stiff or springy, which makes it easier to coil, manage on a desk and carry without fighting it into your bag. A cable that’s too rigid is harder to manage and more likely to kink at pressure points over time.
Is it easy to store and carry?
Yes. The braided cable coils naturally without resistance, and the included velcro strap wraps around the loop to hold it in a neat bundle; no knots, no clips, no searching through a tangled mess at the bottom of your bag. Two metres coils down to a compact size that fits easily in any pouch or side pocket. It’s the kind of detail that makes the cable feel considered rather than generic.
Can I transfer data with this cable?
Yes. The KaseMe USB-C Cable supports data transfer in addition to charging, so you can use it to move photos, files and other content between devices. Connect two USB-C devices and your computer or tablet will recognise the connection for file transfer. It’s the everyday use case covered: one cable for charging and syncing, without needing to carry a separate cord.
Does the cable come in different colours or styles?
Yes, available in three colours: beige, orange and black. All three versions are identical in build quality and performance. Beige suits neutral, minimal setups. Orange adds a pop of colour to a clean desk. Black is the most discreet option for dark workspaces or travel. Choose the one that works with your space, or pick up more than one; a different colour for home and for your bag makes it easy to grab the right one quickly.
Does the cable come with a wall adapter?
No. The KaseMe USB-C Cable is sold on its own, without a wall adapter included. It works with any USB-C wall adapter, power bank or computer port you already own. If you’re looking for a fast-charging adapter to pair with the cable, here’s what we suggest for the wall adapter:
- iPhone (fast charging): 20W–30W charger
- Samsung Galaxy (flagship models): 25W–45W charger
- iPad: 20W–45W charger
- MacBook Air: 35W–70W charger
- MacBook Pro 14-inch: 70W–96W charger
- MacBook Pro 16-inch: 140W charger
- High-performance USB-C laptops: 100W–140W charger
Note: A 240W USB-C cable supports up to 240W of power delivery, but your charging speed will always be limited by the lower of your device's maximum charging rate and your power adapter's output.
