Your reader deserves a case as good as the books inside it.

The KaseMe E-Reader Case is a flip-style case designed for Kindle and Kobo devices, built around a full 360° protection system. The front cover closes over the screen to guard it from scratches, pressure and drops, while the inner shell holds your e-reader firmly in place. The exterior is water-resistant, a spill on the couch or a rainy commute isn’t going to end your reading session.

A built-in hand strap on the back gives you a secure, ergonomic one-hand grip for long reading sessions without fatigue. The magnetic closure keeps the cover shut during transport and doubles as the trigger for the Auto Sleep/Wake function; open the case, your device wakes up instantly; close it, the screen turns off and the battery is preserved. No button presses, no wasted charge.

Printed with an original KaseMe design, designed and produced in Quebec, the case is the part of your reading setup that other people actually notice. Each design is printed directly onto the cover for lasting colour that doesn’t scratch, peel or fade.

At just 110g, it adds virtually nothing to the weight of your device, so your reading bag stays light and your wrists stay happy.

Compatible with Kindle and Kobo models. Use our model identification guide to select the right fit for your device.

About the Design

This is where protection meets art.

Every E-Reader Case carries an original KaseMe design, drawn in-house by our team of Canadian designers and printed directly onto the case so the artwork becomes part of the cover, not a sticker that lifts at the edges.

Pick a print that matches your mood: bold florals, painterly abstracts, soft pastels, retro graphics, monochrome essentials. Each design is exclusive to KaseMe and made for people who want their reading accessories to look like something, not nothing.

Shipping

Every E-Reader Case is made to order in our Quebec workshop. Give us 3 to 5 working days to print and assemble yours, then it ships straight to your door from Canada. Standard and express options are available at checkout and shipping is free on orders over $CAD 100.

International shipping is available to most countries, with transit times that vary by region. Full details, rates and current lead times live on our shipping page.

Warranty & Exchanges

We stand behind every case we make. Every E-Reader Case is covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, think delamination, structural failure, printing flaws or magnetic closure failure under normal use. If something is wrong with your case, we will make it right.

What’s not covered: damage from drops (the case did its job), normal wear from daily use, and cosmetic scratches on the exterior over time.

Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unused cases in their original packaging. Custom-printed cases are final sale. To start an exchange, head to our exchange request page or reach out through our contact page.

Care & Installation

To install your E-Reader Case:

  • Open the case fully and locate the inner shell on the back panel.
  • Align your e-reader with the shell, inserting it corner by corner. Start at one corner and work around the edges until the device snaps securely into place on all sides.
  • Check that all buttons and the charging port align with their cutouts before closing the cover.
  • Close the front cover, the magnetic closure should snap shut cleanly and your device should go to sleep automatically. Open it again to confirm the Auto Sleep/Wake function is working with your device.
  • Slide your hand through the back strap to test the grip before your first reading session.

To keep it looking its best:

  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The water-resistant surface is easy to clean, avoid soaking it or using alcohol-based cleaners, which can affect the finish over time.
  • Clean the printed cover with a dry microfibre cloth. The scratch-resistant print holds up well to daily handling, but abrasive materials will dull it over time.
  • Check the hand strap periodically. If it shows signs of wear at the attachment points, contact our support team.
  • Keep the case away from prolonged direct heat and sunlight, which can affect both the print and the magnetic closure over time.

Customer photo review of Probably Reading E-Reader Case

Probably Reading E-Reader Case

FAQs

Questions?Answers.

Is the Kindle case comfortable to hold for long reading sessions?

Yes, that’s exactly what it’s designed for. The KaseMe E-Reader Case features a built-in hand strap on the back that gives you a secure, ergonomic one-hand grip. Slide your hand through and the case rests naturally in your palm, so you can read for hours without your wrist tiring from holding the device. It’s a small feature that makes a real difference during long sessions in bed, on the couch or in transit.

How protective is the Kindle case?

The E-Reader Case offers full 360° protection: the inner shell secures the back and sides of your device, while the front cover closes over the screen to protect it from scratches, dust and direct impacts. The exterior is water-resistant, so a splash, a spill or a rainy commute won’t reach your e-reader. The case is built to handle the everyday accidents that happen when you read everywhere, which is exactly the point.

Will my Kindle turn on/off automatically when opening/closing the case?

Yes. The KaseMe E-Reader Case features an Auto Sleep/Wake function triggered by the magnetic closure. Open the cover and your Kindle or Kobo wakes up immediately, no button needed. Close the cover and it goes to sleep, stopping the screen and preserving battery life automatically. It’s a seamless part of the reading experience: pick it up, open it, read. Put it down, close it, done.

Does the case have a magnetic closure?

Yes. The front cover closes with a built-in magnet that snaps shut cleanly and holds the case closed during transport, protecting the screen and keeping everything in place in your bag. The same magnet is what triggers the Auto Sleep/Wake function, so it’s doing double duty every time you open or close the case. The closure is designed to stay secure through daily use without weakening over time.

Is the Kindle case lightweight?

The E-Reader Case weighs just 110g, light enough that you’ll barely notice it’s there. One of the main reasons people use an e-reader is to carry a library without the weight of physical books. The case is designed with the same logic: add protection, not bulk. Your reading bag stays light and your wrists stay comfortable even through long sessions.

Can I customize my Kindle case?

The E-Reader Case is available with fully custom printing through our online personalization tool; upload your own photo, artwork or design and we’ll print it directly onto the cover. Your favourite book cover, a photo from a trip, your own illustration,  anything that makes it yours. Start creating on our custom case builder.

How do I find my e-reader model?

The most reliable way is to check the code printed on the back of your device. Do not rely on the model name shown in your settings menu, it is often too generic to identify the exact version. We’ve put together a model identification table that maps the back-of-device code to the correct case size. Use that table to confirm your model before adding to cart. If you’re unsure after checking, our support team can help you identify the right fit.

Where are your cases designed and made?

Every KaseMe E-Reader Case is designed and printed in Quebec, Canada. Our team of Canadian designers creates each artwork in-house, no licensed stock prints, no outsourced design. Each case is assembled to order at our Quebec facility before shipping straight to your door. Local production means tighter quality control and a smaller environmental footprint.
