The KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap is an adjustable nylon phone lanyard that attaches to any phone case and lets you carry your phone over your shoulder, across your chest or around your neck, hands completely free. It’s the answer to the pocket problem: dresses, skirts, jumpsuits and too-small jeans pockets were not designed with a phone in mind. This strap was.

At a festival, your phone stays secured to your body while you dance, drink and move through crowds, no dropping it, no losing it in the grass, no digging through a bag every time it buzzes. Travelling? Keep it close to your body and out of reach of pickpockets without stuffing it into a hidden pocket or a zipped bag. At a market, on a hike, chasing kids around, any situation where you need your hands and your phone at the same time, the strap handles it.

Made from 100% recyclable nylon with an aluminum buckle and a rotating carabiner, the strap is adjustable between 18 and 27 inches to suit every body type and wearing preference. A 1-inch-wide nylon strap sits comfortably on your shoulder or neck without digging in, even when worn for hours. An extra attachment point on the strap lets you clip on keys, AirPods, a small water bottle or anything else you want within reach.

Warranty & Exchanges

The KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap is sold as-is. Due to the nature of this product, it does not carry a standard manufacturer warranty. If your Crossbody Phone Strap arrives defective or damaged when opening the packaging, contact us immediately and we’ll take care of it.

What’s not covered: damage to your device resulting from use of the strap, normal wear from daily use, and damage from overstressing the attachment system beyond its intended use.

Important notice: KaseMe is not responsible for any damage to your device resulting from personal actions during use of this product. If you have a cardiac device such as a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator, please consult your doctor before using this product, as the aluminum and carabiner components may pose health risks.

Installation & Care

To attach your Crossbody Phone Strap:

  • Remove your phone from its case momentarily.
  • Take the included plastic attachment card and slide it between your phone and the inside of your case, positioning the small loop so it exits through the charging port opening at the bottom of the case.
  • Replace your phone into the case. The attachment card sits flat between the phone and the case interior with the loop tab hanging from the charging port hole.
  • Hook the rotating carabiner on the strap through the loop tab. The carabiner should rotate freely and lock securely in place.
  • Adjust the strap length using the aluminum buckle to your preferred carry length, between 18 and 27 inches, and wear it as a crossbody, shoulder strap or necklace-style carry.

To detach the strap quickly:

  • To remove the strap and leave the attachment card in place: unclip the carabiner from the attachment loop. This takes seconds and the card stays installed inside your case, ready to reattach whenever you need it.
  • To remove everything: unclip the carabiner, then open your case and slide the attachment card out. Your case returns to its normal state with no trace of the strap.

To keep it looking its best:

  • Wipe the nylon strap with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid soaking the strap or submerging the buckle and carabiner hardware.
  • Check the carabiner and buckle periodically for smooth operation. If either feels stiff, wipe away any debris from the hinge point.
  • Store loosely coiled rather than tightly wound to preserve the nylon’s shape over time.

Are phone straps strong enough to hold my phone securely?

Yes. The KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap is built from durable, 100% recyclable nylon with an aluminum buckle and a rotating carabiner, hardware designed to hold the weight of a phone securely during regular movement. The attachment system anchors the strap to the phone case through the charging port opening, creating a firm connection that holds through walking, dancing, commuting and everyday activity. The strap is 1 inch wide, which distributes the phone’s weight comfortably rather than concentrating it at a single point.

Will my phone fall if the strap is pulled?

No, a pull on the strap does not detach your phone. The attachment card sits secured between your phone and its case, and the carabiner locks onto the card’s loop tab. For the phone to separate from the strap, the carabiner would need to be deliberately opened. A snatch or a sudden tug puts tension on the strap itself, not on the connection, which is exactly what makes it useful as a security measure in crowded spaces or while travelling. Your phone stays on you.

How does the phone strap attach to my phone?

The included plastic attachment card slides between your phone and the inside of its case. A small loop tab on the card hangs out through the charging port opening at the bottom of the case. The rotating carabiner on the strap hooks through this loop, connecting the strap to the case securely. There’s no drilling, no adhesive and no modification required, just slide the card in and hook on the strap. The attachment card is thin enough to sit flat without affecting how the case fits or feels.

Does the strap come with the attachment piece?

Yes. Every KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap ships with the plastic attachment card included. Everything you need to set up the strap is in your package, no separate purchase, no waiting for additional parts. If you ever need a replacement attachment card without buying a new strap, we also sell the card separately.

Is the phone strap compatible with all phone cases?

Absolutely. The attachment system works with any phone case that has a bottom opening for the charging port, which covers virtually every case on the market, including all KaseMe Impact Cases, Clear Cases and Folio Cases, as well as cases from any other brand. The attachment card slides in regardless of the case brand or style. The only requirement is that the case has a charging port cutout at the bottom, which is standard.

Can I charge my phone while using the strap?

Yes, in two ways. For wireless charging, simply place your phone on a Qi pad or snap it onto a KaseMe ChargePod with the strap attached, no need to detach anything. For wired charging, the attachment card leaves the charging port fully accessible, so you can plug in a cable while the card is installed and the strap is connected. You never need to remove the strap or the attachment card to charge your phone.

What is the maximum and minimum strap length?

The KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap adjusts between 18 and 27 inches using the buckle slider. At 18 inches, it sits closer to the chest, suitable for a snug crossbody carry or a shorter necklace-style length. At 27 inches, it hangs lower at the hip, comfortable for crossbody wear on taller frames or for a more relaxed, loose carry. The full 9-inch range covers most body types and wearing preferences, from a tight anti-theft carry to a relaxed everyday style.

Is it comfortable to wear for long periods?

Yes. The 1-inch-wide nylon strap distributes the phone’s weight across a wide enough surface that it doesn’t dig into your shoulder or neck, even after hours of wear. You can adjust the length to carry the phone crossbody, on one shoulder or at different heights depending on what’s most comfortable for your body and your activity. The nylon is soft and flexible, it moves with you rather than stiffening or chafing. Most people forget they’re wearing it within a few minutes.

Can I attach other items to the strap?

Yes. The KaseMe Crossbody Phone Strap includes an extra attachment point on the strap itself, a secondary clip or loop where you can hook additional items. Keys, an AirPods case, a small carabiner, a compact water bottle, a cardholder; anything with a loop or clip can attach here and travel with you without needing a separate bag. It’s a small feature that makes the strap genuinely useful as a carry system, not just a phone holder.

Can I remove my phone quickly from the strap?

Yes, in seconds. If you want to hand your phone to someone, take a photo or simply go hands-on: unclip the rotating carabiner from the attachment loop and the strap separates from the phone instantly. The attachment card stays inside your case, ready to clip back on the moment you’re done. If you want to remove everything entirely, strap and card, unclip the carabiner, open the case briefly, slide the card out and you’re back to a standard case in under ten seconds.
