Product Details

Your iPhone camera is one of the most advanced optical systems you carry every day. The lens is also one of its most exposed parts.

The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector is a precision-cut tempered glass guard that adheres directly over each camera lens on your iPhone, providing a hard, transparent barrier against the scratches, scuffs and cracks that can degrade your photo quality over time. Designed to provide ultimate protection without compromising image quality, the glass is optically clear so every photo comes out exactly as your camera intends it; no haze, no colour shift, no reduction in light.

The protector sits flush with the camera module and is cut precisely for your iPhone model, covering every lens in the array with no overhang. Night mode, flash, autofocus and Portrait mode all function exactly as they would without the protector in place. The glass is ultra-thin and low-profile, so it integrates cleanly with any phone case without adding height or creating gaps.

Available in silver and black to blend with your iPhone’s finish as closely as possible. Choose the colour that disappears best on your device.

A single-use product: apply it once, leave it on. Replace it only if it takes a hit that would otherwise have gone straight to your lens.

Complete Camera Protection

A phone case protects the back and sides. A screen protector covers the front. The lens protector closes the one gap that most cases leave open: the camera module.

Most phone cases have a cutout around the camera array to avoid interfering with the lenses, which means the lenses themselves are exposed to whatever your phone rests against, slides into or drops on. The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector fills that gap with a layer of tempered glass that sits between the lenses and the world.

All three products are designed to work together. The lens protector is low-profile enough to sit flush within the camera cutout of any KaseMe Impact Case or Clear Case, with no interference and no height mismatch. Add all three and every surface of your iPhone is covered.

Installation & Care

To install your Camera Lens Protector:

  • Start with a completely clean camera module. Use a soft microfibre cloth to remove any fingerprints, oils or dust from the lens surfaces and the surrounding frame. Any debris left under the protector will be visible in your photos.
  • Use the included dust removal sticker or a piece of tape to lift any remaining dust particles from the lens area before applying.
  • Align the protector precisely over the camera module before committing. Each protector is cut to cover the full lens array of your specific iPhone model, line up the openings with each individual lens and the flash.
  • Once aligned, press the protector down gently and evenly from the centre outward.
  • Press firmly around every lens opening and the outer edge of the protector to ensure full adhesion.

To remove your Camera Lens Protector:

  • Gently try to pry the protector off from one edge using your fingertip or a soft, non-sharp tool. Work slowly and carefully around the perimeter.
  • Be gentle throughout: avoid bending the protector sharply or using any tool that could scratch the lens beneath.
  • Note that this is a single-use product: once removed, it cannot be reapplied. Replace it with a new protector once removed.

To keep it clean:

  • Wipe the lens protector surface with a soft, dry microfibre cloth before shooting, just as you would with your bare lens.
  • Avoid pressing on the lens protector with sharp objects, which can chip or crack the glass at the edges.

FAQs

Questions?Answers.

Will the camera lens protector affect photo quality?

No. The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector is designed specifically to provide protection without compromising image quality. The tempered glass is optically clear; no tint, no haze, no colour shift, so light reaches the lens exactly as it would without the protector in place. Clarity, sharpness, colour accuracy and dynamic range in your photos are all unaffected. Once it’s installed correctly, you won’t be able to tell from your photos that it’s there.

Does it interfere with night mode or flash?

No. Night mode works by keeping the shutter open longer to gather light, nothing about the lens protector changes the amount of light that reaches the sensor, so night shots are as bright and detailed as usual. The flash cutout is also accounted for in the protector’s design: the True Tone flash and LiDAR scanner (where applicable) remain fully unobstructed. Portraits, low-light scenes and flash photography all perform exactly as intended.

Do they affect autofocus?

No. Autofocus on the iPhone relies on sensors and on-lens detection that works independently of the lens surface. The protector sits on top of the glass without interfering with the camera’s focusing system. Phase detection, contrast detection and LiDAR-assisted focus all function normally with the protector applied. Your phone focuses just as quickly and accurately as before.

Do lens protectors protect against scratches and cracks?

Yes, on both counts. The tempered glass creates a hard barrier between the lens and everyday contact: keys in a pocket, rough surfaces, accidental drags against a desk or counter. It guards the lens glass from the micro-scratches that accumulate over time and eventually soften image sharpness. In the event of a more significant impact, a drop onto a hard corner, for example, the protector is designed to absorb the force and crack in place of the lens itself. If the protector cracks, it has done its job: replace it and your lens is intact.

What level of hardness do they have?

The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector is made from 9H-rated tempered glass, the highest hardness rating on the pencil hardness scale for glass products, and just below diamond. In practical terms, it resists scratching from virtually any everyday object: keys, screws, coins and similar sharp items will not scratch the surface under normal use. The same 9H rating we use for our screen protectors, applied to the part of your phone that most cases leave unprotected.

Are camera lens protectors easy to install?

Yes, with a clean surface and a careful alignment step. The most important part of the installation is making sure the camera module is completely free of dust and oils before you apply the protector: use a soft microfibre cloth and the included dust removal sticker to prepare the surface. Once the lens area is clean, align the protector over the lens array before committing and press down gently and evenly once it’s in position. Full instructions are included in the box.

Can I use them with any type of case?

Absolutely. The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector is ultra-thin and low-profile, designed to sit flush within the camera cutout of any phone case without creating gaps or height mismatches. It works with KaseMe Impact Cases, Clear Cases and Folio Cases, as well as cases from other brands. The protector adds no meaningful thickness to the camera module area, so fit and feel with your existing case is completely unchanged.

Are the lens protectors noticeable?

Minimal to invisible, depending on which colour you choose. The KaseMe Camera Lens Protector is available in silver and black so you can match it as closely as possible to your iPhone’s finish. Silver blends with natural titanium, stainless steel and lighter-coloured frames; black disappears against Space Black, Midnight and darker models. The glass itself is fully transparent, so the only element you might notice is the thin ring frame around the lens array, which most people mistake for the phone’s original camera design.

Can I remove it easily?

Yes, but carefully. To remove the lens protector, gently pry from one edge using your fingertip or a soft, non-sharp tool. Work slowly around the perimeter rather than forcing it from a single point. Be careful not to bend the protector sharply against the lens or let any hard tool contact the glass beneath. The protector is a single-use product: once removed, it cannot be reapplied. If you remove it, replace it with a new one to maintain lens protection.
